Relax in a natural environment? You are very welcome in our guesthouse Le Grand Bois. We have four rooms and an apartment, each with its own character. Room Le Sérail is located on the first floor and is the largest room. This spacious and luxuriously designed room has everything to have a pleasant stay.
We are just outside the town of Le Poët-Célard. A few kilometers away you will find villages like Saoû, Dieulefit and Bourdeaux. We are in the Provencal Drôme area, in the South East of France. An area that few people really know. On our environment page we keep track of which activities are offered.
From Le Sérail you have a beautiful view of the sunbathing lawn of the campsite. The room is suitable for four people. In the middle of the room you will find a separate toilet and a separate shower. There are also two televisions. The room is 25 square meters in size. You can make your own coffee and tea in this chambre d’hôte. You have your own fridge and a common microwave is in the hallway. The room has a terrace of 12 square meters.
In addition to free Wi-Fi, breakfast is included in the Le Sérail room. We serve a delicious French breakfast, expanded with fresh fruit, orange juice, yogurt and savory and sweet treats. In our kitchen we provide a changing daily menu in addition to breakfast on reservation. Our restaurant is open daily in high season. We will take your dietary requirements into account upon request.

The rooms of the inn are free to book. This means that you can decide on what day you want to come and when you want to leave. So you can choose whether you want to rent Le Sérail for one night or for several nights. You are welcome from 4 pm on the day of arrival until 10 am on the day of departure.
It is nice to dive into the water during a hot day. Therefore, as a guest in our inn you can also use the facilities of the campsite. The swimming pool is open from May to September from 9 AM to 7 PM. We also have a common room with a wood burning stove and lounge area. Our inn is suitable for a total of 15 people.
Are you with more than two people? In addition to Le Sérail, we also rent three more chambre d’hôtes (La Prairie, L’Aile and Nova Zembla). We also have a gite (La Soierie).
We, Eelco Grebel and Jolande Siepman, are the owners of Le Grand Bois. We have been living in the beautiful De Drôme area in southern France since 2005, after having lived in Utrecht for many years. This part of France is also called the Tuscany of France. Our French guests also call our place “Un coin de paradis”, a paradise spot.
