Luxury traveling with your family or a group, and experiencing the outdoor life? Spending the night in our chalet La Nouba is a real delight. The cabin is fully equipped, and the veranda terrace is furnished to relax.

There are two bedrooms with their bathroom; One with a double bed, the 2nd with two single beds and in the lounge area there is a sofa bed to sleep up to 6 person, still there is enough space for everyone. The fresh air of the forest and the welded environment will help you to relax during the holidays.

Enjoy luxury at the campsite? At campsite Le Grand Bois you can enjoy our chalet La Nouba. An extensive accommodation, suitable for six people. Ideal for a group.

Le Grand Bois is located in the Drôme area, just outside the town of Le Poët-Célard in southern France. Nearby are villages / towns such as Saoû, Dieulefit and Bourdeaux. You can find an overview on our environment page.

Luxury chalet in the south of France

When you enter the site of our campsite, you immediately see the chalet. From the terrace of the chalet you look directly at the sunbathing lawn and you see the inn. There is a double bed in the 35 square meter holiday home. There are also two single beds and a sofa bed. Two bedrooms have their own shower / sink. There is a separate toilet in the rental house. Serving breakfast is possible on request. You can also dine to your heart’s content.

We have a kitchen from which we serve a meal. In the low season we offer a changing daily menu by reservation, in the high season our restaurant is fully open. We will take your dietary requirements into account upon request.

“Been twice now and enjoy the forest every time. 50 places. Wonderful atmosphere. Good food at the bar. Clean swimming pool. Have a great time with kids aged 4 and 1. Enjoy sunflowers and lavender in the area!”

Arrival and departure

For our chalet you can decide on which day you want to come and when you want to leave. So you can choose whether you want to rent La Nouba for one night or for multiple nights. You are welcome from 4 pm on the day of arrival until 10 am on the day of departure.

Campsite with outdoor swimming pool in southern France

The chalet is part of the campsite. That means that you can, for example, take a dip in the pool. From May to September you can use it every day between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. We also have a bar / restaurant and there is a common room with a wood burning stove and lounge area. Our chalet is suitable for six people. Are you with more than six people? In our guesthouse we rent four chambre d’hôtes (La Prairie, Le Sérail, L’Aile and Nova Zembla). We also have a  apartment (La Soierie).

Holiday home near Dieulefit

Are you specifically looking for a holiday home near Dieulefit? Then you are at the right place at Le Grand Bois. We are Eelco Grebel and Jolande Siepman and since 2005 we live in the beautiful area De Drôme in southern France, after having lived in Utrecht for many years. This part of France is also called the Tuscany of France. Our French guests also call this place “Un coin de paradis”, a paradise spot.
