Fresh air, shady pitches and lots of things to discover in the area. We are a spacious and quiet child-friendly campsite located on a hilltop with a swimming pool. Here you can relax at the pool and on the spacious quiet camping pitches in the forest. Enjoy a cup of coffee, a nice meal or a fresh beer on the terrace by the pool.
Le Grand Bois is a small, family campsite in the Drôme, a relatively undiscovered area of Southeast France. At our campsite you can choose several camping pitches in the forest, where you are sheltered. Our three-star campsite is just outside Le Poët-Célard, surrounded by picturesque villages such as Dieulefit, Saoû and Bourdeaux. Enough to discover active, sports, cultural or historical. The camping pitches are located in the forest. That is why our campsite is called Le Grand Bois, the big forest. The pitches are approximately 90 square meters in size. A number of pitches are also suitable for a camper or caravan. All pitches have power points. Our campsite is perfect for the reception of groups, especially in the early and late season.
The campsite has a large outdoor swimming pool with a children’s pool. There is also a playground and a table tennis table. A large sanitair bloc is available. There is a bar / restaurant on the campsite where you can enjoy a drink in the lounge corner and dine on our terrace or in the restaurant. The campsite is open from 1 May to approximately 20 September.

On the day of arrival you are welcome at the campsite from 14:00. On the day of departure, we expect the place to be empty before 12:00.
At Le Grand Bois we go for quality. We are affiliated with the ANWB and other organizations such as ANCV, Coolcamping and FRHPA. Le Grand Bois is a relatively small campsite. In addition to the camping pitches in the forest, we also have places in the sun meadow and we rent out 9 safari tents, a caravan and a chalet. In the guesthouse we rent 4 luxury rooms and an apartment.
The camping and inn at Le Grand Bois are run by Jolande Siepman and Eelco Grebel. We settled in France in 2005, after having lived in the center of Utrecht for many years.
